  • Two and a Half Years Later! | Manhattan Beach Children's Photographer

  • Kellen and Barrett were my very first newborn twin session! And now, here they are…at 2.5 years old. Mentally preparing for a session with 2.5 year old twins and a dog…I’m not going to lie- I was a little nervous. Maybe even more nervous than I was for their first session. Newborns can’t run away from you at least…but I needn’t have worried. Not only did they not run away, they were awesome!! I absolutely love their sweet interactions.

  • Sweet Sadie | Hermosa Beach Newborn Photographer

  • I have been looking forward to this newborn session since mom booked it back in June! She was always so sweet and positive in her emails, I could just tell how excited she was to meet her baby girl! She had purchased a few hats and her sister bought the sweet headband and tutu. There was some speculating that she’d arrive early, but instead she made her parents wait for her! It was a hard pregnancy and a somewhat traumatic birth, but it’s easy to see she was worth it all and is so loved!

  • Spring Mini Sessions! | Redondo Beach Children's Photographer

  • Mini Sessions are the perfect opportunity to get some gorgeous, professional images without the investment of a full session! You may use your mini session for a single child, family shoot, mom and me, or to showcase those Easter outfits or maybe even a favorite tutu and crown 🙂 The possibilities are endless.

My mom was visiting last week, so we headed to the park for a mini session with Grandma. Here are some of the images we captured in the time of a mini session!

Here’s hoping your 4 year old will be a little more cheerful than mine was 🙂

  • My Little Superman | Redondo Beach Children's Photographer

  • I’ve been meaning to plan an actual session with Aidric. It’s been awhile since I’ve done one. This was not that planned session. This was Aidric being adorable and me asking him if I could take his picture. When he agreed, I jumped off the couch, grabbed my camera and we just went into the yard. I didn’t want to risk losing his cooperation by requesting he change his outfit…so, superman, cozy pants and crocs it is!

  • Sweet Sisters | Rancho Palos Verdes Photographer

  • I was thrilled to spend some time with Chloe and Hayley this afternoon at the Wayfarer’s Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. I had never been there before- what a gorgeous place! They were so sweet and all sophisticated in their holiday best to start the session.

Then, they magically turned into fairies and had a blast dancing, twirling and playing with the “wishbones” (grass) they found. I love sisters!!

There are SO many other shots I love and I want to share them all, but I’m going to stop myself here! I’m resisting the family shots because I hate to spoil the holiday card in the event that one ends up on there!

  • Oh.My.Cuteness | Santa Monica Family Photographer

  • It might be true that I am partial to blue eyed tow heads. Or it might just be that these two cuties are super sweet and fun in addition to being adorable. In any case, I looove this session! Colin and Quinn made their first appearance on the blog over the summer, and this time their parents joined in for the fun. We met up in an art district in Santa Monica for a more “urban” feel to their shoot.

My new favorite sibling shot. Eye contact, genuine smiles, perfect coordinating clothes and a fun bench. (Did I mention Cherie MADE Quinn’s little dress and headband?? So cute and so impressive!!)

I love how Quinn is just gazing up at mom and dad.

And even though I’m really TRYING to keep sneak peeks to just 2 pictures….one more.

  • Penelope | Palos Verdes Family Photographer

  • This was such a fun family session, but in the end….it was all about Penelope. Penelope is the dog and she kind of stole the spotlight. We weren’t sure if she’d “cooperate” and be still for any of the pictures. We needn’t have worried. Penelope found her way into pretty much EVERY shot. It was hilarious. No matter how many times we moved and rearranged, Penelope found her way right back to center stage, which is actually kind of nice, b/c she’s definitely an important part of this family. Just one for now..I don’t want to reveal too much of the holiday card!
